Dr. Suparna Banerjee

Dr Suparna Banerjee is a Gynaecologist and Obstetrician from Kolkata, West Bengal with more than 12 years of vast experience in the field of Reproduction.

She did her MBBS from R G Kar Medical College & Hospital with Distinction in Biochemistry. She then completed her Diploma (DGO) and subsequently Master Degree (MD) in Gynaecology and Obstetrics from the same institution under Calcutta University.

After completing her training in India, she moved to the United Kingdom to gain more experience. She started her work as a Gynaecologist and worked in a number of reputed University hospitals in London. Her work spanned from Whipps Cross University Hospital in East London, King's College University Hospital to St. George's University Hospital in London. While working at these hospitals, Dr. Banerjee learned advanced laparoscopy and hysteroscopy techniques.

She passed her membership examination (MRCOG) while working in UK. She was trained in Peninsular Centre for Reproductive Medicine besides acquiring knowledge and skills regarding Assisted Reproductive Medicine. During her UK stint, Dr. Banerjee did more than thousand IVF cycles and managed more than 5000 couples suffering from infertility issues.

In order to gain further insights, she attended courses in Assisted Reproduction, Advanced Life Skills, Advanced Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy courses etc.

Dr. Banerjee has presented papers in leading national and international conferences. Her presentation at The British International Congress and the FIGO World Congress earned her the best presentation award. She has participated as Faculty and Expert in different national conferences.
